Looks like go2 is mighty protective of their mark. I Wonder how much goto offered go2 for the go2 mark and url? However much goto offered go2, it wasn't enough, IMO, because they didn't get it!!!
The whole situation begs a couple questions.
1. If go2 had a prexisting use of the disputed mark, why didn't they protect it by registering or purchasing goto.com from goto?
2. Why did goto.com build out a brand they must've know would be contested by go2 and thus might have to be abandoned down the road?
