Paying all your bills doesn't really mean you are living comfortably. I am glad it is working out for you though!

Great post. Buying up expiring domains is an area I'd like to invest in, in the future.

Happy new fulltime domainer year :) and thanks for sharing your experiences.

If a end user emails you with a counter offer, take it. Cause once you counter offer back, they will not reply back. Even if you email them back to accept their counter offer, they will not email back. I've experienced this several times now and very unhappy about myself.

My experience is to put youself in a stronger position at the very beginning of the end user negotiation. State clearly how much you want, tell them the price is firm if they countered a much lower price then tell them you have to pass and say good luck to their project. If the end user is serious enough to get this domain, he won't be pissed off. The more counter offer you made will let the buyer think you may leave more negotiation room on the price. They may even reconsider the purchase.

Good luck with your 2nd year full-time domaining!

Congrats on the successful year!

One word of advice, what works for you doesnt work for everyone. I have had more success selling keyword .net to endusers than .com, and yes the prices were at the same level if not higher. There are many great keyword .net out there, people shouldnt limit themselves to one extension. I have sold .biz, .tv, .info, even a .cc a few weeks ago, keywords are what matters most. Im sure others will agree with me.

HI

Congrats with your success selling domains full time... and for sharing your tips.

Do you ever get people emailing to back complaining of spam when you contact people you found in google..

And how many people to you email on avg per domain you are selling.

Thx
Tom
