Since i am in the UK (and had crappy work this morning), i couldnt make the auction last night

i have read about one problem which has arose at the auction last night but on the whole - what is the opinion of the auction

* Did it go well?
* Did a lot of members participate?
* Who got bargains/ Who got a good price for a sale?

fonz i think there were about 60 - 70 members in the chatroom if i'm not mistaken so it was very popular.

as for bargains i couldnt say i bowed out around 4am after the first 70 auctions.

Sounds as if it didn't go too well. A reporting system would be handy and may attract more traders.

It would be interesting to see if one taking place in GMT would attract more serious traders as well.

I know i have posted that a lot of people ruined it but i want to add that the format is good and greg has done a good job putting it in place... this was the 'launch' auction so a few teething troubles are expected...

i think all we were missing was nick(namepopper) and some kind of moderator powers for him to kick the talkative parties out if they caused any disruptions...

yeah its difficult for any european members - maybe we could have our own auction

it does seem to be popular though and this will surely attract domain traders who arent even members of the site yet

70 people is a lot of people to get in a chat room

It was very very popular... there were 99 members in the chatroom. It was a little chaos in the beginning, but once the definite rules were set, it was almost perfect.
