Today is going to be a very interesting day. Some guys are increasing the NW bids like they are on fire. Lots of people are trying to see what is on the other side of the door.

I think I just weeded through about 24,000 Dns.

There are some great ones in the list!

Hope I can come away with a couple!

Good luck

Not a big miss if your cc has a limit < $10K.

All the 3 letters were moving like it was the stock market ticker.

I got sniped but that is alright. I still have money in my pocket.

However, what upset me the most was yesterday. I had snaps and NW on a couple names and still did not get them. One of them being BakeShoppe.com

And, I did not get one NW yesterday. I think that was a record.

Did Snap and NW take off yesterday for Mother's Day?

It is a large drop today. I'll be interested to see if Club Enom gets anything. Might help me to decide whether or not to join.

Damn, I just found out that ToastyX beat my Snap to grab ncb.org with his own script (using Enom). The name even gets OT results with the extension. You weasel Toasty! :)

How much did you pay Enom? Since 5/2 when I signed up, I only got 2 names so far. And you got 8 in one day

Today club drop got me only one of my 25 but the other 24 were highly contested. More than half were 3 letter .com/.net mix.

I got: Patented.net

Best club drop name for me this month is: anchors.net

So far namewinner has been shooting blanks for me but have several dropping tomorrow which I have the high bids on.

There are 2 which I have the snap, high NW bid and put on my club drop list. Hope club drop wins!

Enom CD has gotten me about 15 this month. Beaten snaps and moderate NW bids.
Haven't gotten any killer names and have put plenty on my list (3 letter .coms etc).

My opinion is that Club drop is good for mediocre names so I will certainly continue with NW and snaps when I can get them.

Lot of mediocre names !! So it is not true to say enom CD beats etc.

What About Wrinkles.com...Why could your enom cd not get it but NW did?

As I said low-lewel script programs with lots of cluless wanna-be members WILL not work. Oh it works for not you but enom. 500 cluless x $100 = $50K. Not bad.

Enom might be putting all of their resources into making the Drop Club successful. As we have all said on the forum. They need to create a success story.

Unfortunately, if they fill all of the slots. Then, the net return (no pun intended) for each member will drastically drop. Plus, you include the add'l strain on their connection by the Drop Club and all of the "low-lewel (level) script programs with lots of cluless wanna-be members?" will probably max out their system.

Yes, they are one of the biggest. But, they are only one out of 114? registrars.

I keep saying this - The only way Enom can be successful in the Drop Club business long term will be for them to affliiate with some of the smaller registrars. Similar to Snap and NW.

And, if they do not. Then, someone else will. Which will push Enom further down the list of important registrars.

Yep, wrinkles was on my list as well as everyone elses Im sure.

I agree with you Act Now. It is super important that they team up with some other registrars IF they want to compete with Snapnames and move ahead of NW. This would make me a happy camper!

Can't wait to see who caught the May 12th names!

Look at the start of the thread.
keyhole.com - - - buydomains.
These suckers never miss traffic names.

I am curious how many employee they recruit.
However, I know a way to beat this buydomain sucker and when I beat them, I am gonna beat them bad and write a few good words just solely for buydomains into the whois info.

Wait.

muusika.com - buydomains (means music in estonian language)! I really wanted that name, but they did have the snap, already in redemption period.

SAF let me in on your secret as Buydomains beats me too often!

Didn't see the thread about "keyhole.com"

Anyone have a list of yesterdays drops and who caught them? Whois-search do you have them yet?

Enom might be good for domains that no one wants - junky domains
When enom gets a good domain, which happens extremely rarely - I saw it only once - they got a 3letter .com I guess, the chances that this domin will be deligated to you are very poor since there are many accounts.
So far, i go only several junky domains. I'd say eNom is good for lower level domains, and it is also questionable...
