why would you post a list like this for free on a public forum?

would you like it if someone let a few hundred of your competitors
know about all of your snapped domains one day before they drop?

there are people who worked hard to snap some of these
MONTHS ago. just because you didn't get the snap on a domain,
you want to create additional competition while at the same time
screwing the people who worked hard to find which names are
worth the snap fee months or weeks ago.

i'm not saying your lists are bad, illegal or stupid. what i am saying
is that you're creating a lot of unnecessary competition.

take note from the guys who have been here a while. keep your
lists to yourself.

you think you're doing a "public service", but you're really
destroying a market.

exactly, what's the use of your post? no need to offer free informative services.

Zorro and DR,

There has been a lot of discussion "for" or "against" pre-posting of names.

This falls into the category of
republican/democrat
pro-life/pro-abortion
etc/etc

Everyone has a set opinion and I don't think anyone is going to move from one side or another.

I probably do more name analysis than a number of the members on this forum.

But, I find a name or two that I didn't know about. And, wish I had the snap on it!

Nonsense - the competition is there anyway.

There was a lot of debate on this, so stop posting domains prior their drop and stop the debate.

Yakov,

That argument doesn't hold.

That means that one side of the argument won.

I keep saying the same thing. My MAJOR competitor is BD.
And, he has a database on names years out.

For example, I had GlobalDesk.com covered almost everywhere.
BD "took it" yesterday. (Took it - as if I owned it!)

Beatz, where are you ???

he's taking a nap.

Nonsense - the competition is there anyway.

right. it's THERE but it's not aware of everything, so by giving
out these lists on public forums, you create "more" competition.

Yes ... all the big players come to DNF just in the hope that somebody posts a few names that are going to drop, so they can have the edge.

I highly doubt anyone that depends on names posted here, has any influence on the prices at places like Namewinner, Thefirstname and the such.

I'm not saying people should or not post info, I AM saying the quality of info posted is of no use to the big, medium or small players in this biz.

stay in the game a little longer laskos, and if it's not monopolized,
you'll see what i'm talking about.

no offense, but it's hard to explain that "free" and "domain
information" don't go together in this business.

Well, Pool has truly become one the the major players in this business.

They picked up some great names today.

(Notice I am changing the subject.)

but, what is fascinating is that they have taken the auction business to another level.

I wish I had thought of it!

It's 3:05. It looks like BD probably will end up with my

GlobalTooling.com

Because, my snap hasn't turned. And, NW and Pool did not get
it.

Does anyone have any idea how many names BD picks up a day?

Someone mentioned they have been keeping track of Ult. Is anyone following BD?

What did they catch today? They didn't really catch anything for me.
