On Overture that is. I think Casino domains is the way to go. 'sex' does $0.10. Those days are gone.

Anyone with a more expensive keyword?

casino goes over $33 often

There are services that automaticly bid for you or your company.

The price flexuates from $10-$40 usually.

for me, overture has proven that it works, WELL.

For every $5 they make me, on average i pay em $1

This is fun. Datapipe is f*** interland

Bids for 'dedicated server'
interland max bid $33.00
datapipe max bid $32.99

With the auto feature turned on datapipe will still pay around $10 a click. About the same as 'casino'.

Where do I find out this info, I know it’s on Overture but where exactly? Or can only advertisers get access to this tool?

Thanks

do a search at overture.com (for anything) when the results pop up..look at the right side of the page and you'll see "View Advertisers' Max Bids" click on that..

Often the bids for "conference calls" approach the $30-$50 per click range.

Damn! Are these bids all for real? I mean, how could a business sustain itself paying this much per *potential* customer?

Also, what about businesses using proxies against their competitors? I'm sure there are plenty of individuals in certain fields who would put morals ahead of a personal agenda (casino for instance)... This seems like a very real and dear problem.

Not sure if you guys know this but the average Ford dealer pays $250 per test drive. This is the cost of marketing for a set period of time divided by the number of test drives.

dumb question: how do you take this information and put it to use? let's say the word 'casino' has a max bid of $30 per click, how do you make money? Why would you benefit if you own a casino domain?

Thanks

It means people with good casino domains may have some people to market to with big pockets.

say you own Casino.com, you could go to the advertisers who bid on the keyword and see if they would like to rent the domain, or buy it..

I'm curious how they fight bad clicks, like whats to stop a competitor from clicking their link every day?.

OVT does have technology in place to stop this.
