2 quick questions

I often get asked to add or send my msn or other type service. Often times it turns into someone trying to sell me or I regret later as they write me for months. I find these to be very time consuming. I use these for some things, but not too much. Mainly for design as email is quick enough most times. Thoughts on this?

Second issue. Wanting zips. Okay first I use ace files which many don't like, but it opens zips and compresses more so I like it. I prefer sending ftp. If someone wants zip, I have to ftp, download, zip and send. Thats not too bad but about 50% of the time the file is too large or a server considers it unsafe. Then I end up having to upload. Its not a huge deal, but it does start to eat up time. Can someone tell me the big advantage of having the zip? I mean I'm ftping the site and zipping, something that I assume most buying the site would be able to do.....
