depends on if you want to quick flip or sit back and wait

both have appreciated in value

as the price of the lowest quality lll.com comes close the prices of some premium lll.net

although development potential is higher for the premium .net ....imo

most of the lowest quality lll.com are primarily resold to other resellers
however, if you can find a use for the letters, then .com remains king!

Tough call.

.com drives .net prices, and both have seen sharp growth recently in valuation in the 3 letter marketplace. You'll have plenty of .com buyers for any combo...though it may be a tough buy to find any 3-letter .com at $2k. The premium 3 letter .net might be a tougher sell, but possibly a higher percentage return sale when your able to get it sold.

I think you could win nicely either way and I wish you good fortune with your upcoming purchases.

Thanks,
zesty

Definetely go for premium .net!
How big is the ROI can a poor 3 letters .com domain combination convert? Probably a few hundreds. And it may takes very long to sell as it does not interest anyone.

Nowdays premium 3 letters .net goes higher than 2k

Certainly true. Unless you are buying to flip. Quick profit =.com, better investment = premium .net

What's better for domain investment / reselling on the forums?

I'm not sure either would be, unless we are talking about something like PLC.net.

What are the chances a company is going to pay out big $ for a .net?
What are the chances a company is going to have the initials xqq.com?

But it seems there will always be a market for these names in the resellers sector.
