Exactly what pisses me off as well. I have no idea based on what they distribute the domains. I wish there were more drop clubs available to people.

Believe me, thats not it! Technically I haven't gotten anything since last 10 days. Where is my account priority!? The domain you got toasty I had on my list as well. Why did you get it and I didn't or someone else didn't?

I had all of those on my list including usmarkets.

Here's my take on the CD. You can't put any mediocre names on your list as if you catch them you will move down the ladder and miss the better than average names.

Of the 25 names on my list today I got iCalls.net which is pretty much a mediocre name which I should not have put on the list.

Overall the CD has worked marginally for me. A few decent names here and there.

Good luck

As I previously wrote, the second day after I opened 10 accounts and placed the same list to all of them, I got 4 domains for one of the accounts and none for 9 others.

I agree with that and so I put only the best names on the list, but then I did not get a single name for the past few days. I guess there's so much competition for the good names, and I can just wait

"I put only the best names on the list"

So, if you are putting only the best names on the list. You are directly competing with the other members of Enom' Drop Club.

But, more importantly, you are trying to get the same names as Snap and NW. And, they have more than one registrar connection trying to get the names.

The reality is - Enom's Drop Club is only one connection competing with SnapNames 20 connections and NW 4 connections.

Yes, not to mention that NW and SnapNames have only one client per name and ENom has a thousand

I feel Enom's Drop Club serves a purpose. But, it is not a cure all.

I have posted many times that I had the Snap and the top bid on NW on many occasions. And, I did not get the name.

Enom ' DC should be considered as "add'l tool" to secure a domain name. Not a guarantee.

The more drop clubs that are out there the less of a chance you will probably have at getting a name with everything so spread out unless you are able to participate and bid at every single drop club (some aren't open to the public). The only reason a lot of us are consistently getting names is because of namewinner/snaps domination right now.

So I guess we have summed it all up that if you bid on mediocre names you have a good chance of getting them but no chance at a good name and if you bid on good names you'll probably never get them anyways.

Hmm, wonder if there will be more or less people competing for the names at CD next month?

Who does 000domains catch for? I had the Snap on LCE.net and lost out to them.
