The new weekly domain sales Report is out at DNJournal.com. I know this is starting to sound like a broken record but 3-letter .coms continue to rock the house. A week after PPP.com topped the chart at $290,000, another 3-letter .com hit $200,000 to top our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart with two more landing in the first five. We also saw two additional 6-figure sales – one for a 2-character .com and the other for a 4-digit numeric.com. It seems buying short has become a popular (and expensive) sport. The .coms swept all but four chart entries leaving two spots each for the non .com gTLDs and ccTLD.You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2015/20150506.htm
Also new at DNJournal is an update on this week’s sale of Escrow.com to Australia’s Freelancer.com. Freelancer CEO & Chairman Matt Barrie was at Escrow.com’s California headquarters meeting team members Wednesday and we caught up with him and Escrow.com President Brandon Abbey there to get the lowdown on the acquisition and what it means for Escrow.com going forward. Check that out here: http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/lowdown/2015/dailyposts/20150429.htm
