Yeah what is the extention?

Also...

2 letter or 3 letter? your title and message are conflicting.
all letters, or letter/number combos?
good letters or awkward ones (i.e. z, x, k, q, etc)?

These are all relevant questions to providing you an answer

Its a digit, so its only worth low $xx but if someone really wants it, more. A 3 character combo sold for a fair price according to DNJournal this/last week.

Go to Acronym Finder at http://www.acronymfinder.com/ and see if it is short for anything. Or short for a Company with 4 words, things like that.

Again its similar to the above, its worth reg fee if it means pretty much nothing.

I don't get the hype over three-letter domains. What's the point? Sure there's only a few possible combinations, thus making them rarer than some of the longer ones, but why does anyone actually care about this?

It is not hype. 3 letter acronyms form abbreviations of full company names for thousands of businesses around the world. That's why they have always been and always will be one of the most popular and easy to sell classes of domains in existence. IBM.com is much more memorable and easy to type than InternationalBusinessMachines.com. The fact that they are both rare and serve a very important purpose accounts for their high price.

I see your point. Are they as popular for other TLDs (info, biz, us, and even the international ones) as they are for .com/net/org?
