Is it just me or are these the only 3 letter tld domains not really going up in value from like 1-2 years ago?

For instance domains you could have got for $140 easily 18 months ago, people are still offering $140 for now (or even sometimes less), while the sellers want maybe $180 - and they won't sell.

It does look that way. The same thing happens to 3-letter .us.

.info seems stagnant, but hasn't taken anywhere near the hit .us has. its still a global tld. also think the .us hit is in large part due to a fresh surge in supply from some large holders.

Good observations, good assesments, and good insight.

Clearly a stagnation and in some instances a downturn in LLL outside .com and .net.

Not great for the seller, but still a good market for buying.

The only 2 extensions that are doing very well is the .net and .com.

offers haven't stop coming, so i don't see a stagnant market for LLL.info or NNN.info

I've recently sold all my LLL.info's and LLL.net's and I think there is just much more investment potential in .com's.

I think that it is a good time to buy lll.info's, i have bought two premium lll.info's for 2xx$ or less, it was not possible a year ago, but the bad letter lll.info's are going for the same price still (not worth to buy them, except for max. 130$).
I try not to focus on just one thing, for many domainers it doesn't take too much effort to have a few lll.info and lll.net's on their board, and there is not too much risk in them, but they could pick up value anytime due to a bigger possible demand from end users anytime.

IMO there a bad investment. You don't get .info for branding, you build mini sites and large content sites on them.

It's only the lower quality combos that are seeing a slow down in price increases. Low quality combos will always be just reseller fodder so try and invest in quality – quality combos rarely come on the market and when they do prices are strong. I turned down £1000 ($2000) for one of mine last week (via sedo, end-user presumably).

I think the right LLL.infos are worth investing in, but not just because they're LLL's. Pick three characters that have common meanings (ie: IRS) and you'll be just fine. Good luck finding a buyer worth much for zqv.

But I have to also agree with Luis on .info's. There is a lot of good potential if you have quality domains. But I guess that goes for anything in business and investing...

LLL.info now appear to have gone down in value by $20 to $30 at reseller pricing on forums. First decrease I have seen.

Since, the 3 letter .info market is stagnant, I guess I better take the gamble and hold on to the few I have.

Hopefully, the .info market will turn around soon.

As it has been said many times, if you own the prime word(s) and letters in any tld, they will continue to rise in value.

.Biz also has the same stigma.

That is true. I keep on getting mid to high $$$$ offers for bra.info and I am not selling.

Agree VIT
That is why relying on a site like 3chr.com is never the final answer.
And I find people refer to it only when it suits their need....whether buying or selling...

and all of a sudden 3chr.com has devalued them by $20 next update, which many domainers take as gospel.
