ok =( then i made a bad deal . i think its worth a bit more but lets see

Take it from my mistakes, stick with .com - thousands of domains dropping everyday, find the one you can flip and make yourself a profit. Use that money again to renew another one continue to do so. Their is high risk involved in buying domains in country extensions. Someone else may disagree, I'm sharing my experience dealing with these extensions, they are just a waste of time and money, All the best.

i would disregard the comments above regarding this domain. i was at the sales venue too but decided not to bit because of various reasons. however, it is obviously worth four figures (because of the other bids on the name) at least

i would try to flip it to a producing/selling company, but i believe the previous owner was already trying this with limited success (correct me if i'm wrong)

lol are you joking or just totally oblivious to ccTLD markets? I know of several offers made in the four figure range (myself included a while back). I also happen to know that the owner is negociating the sale for a "high price".

btw why am i a .se fanatic? i dont own any but the two for my business and have never sold a single one.

Explain the mental effort you made in coming up with the 0-reg fee appraisal, or is your business model "domaining roulette", exactly what it sounds like?

Top tier term in a reasonable ccTLD. I agree with others, somewhere in the $X,XXX range.

I think the main question is how many people in Sweden would type "3DTV" into a browser?

As far as I know English is not the primary language there so would it mean anything to them?

Acording to Google translate, the Swedish translation of "three dimensional television" is "tredimensionell TV" (any native Swedish speakers here?).

If it is something they would type in - is the 3D TV market there lucritave enough for the domain? Clearly 3DTV.us would be worth a lot more since 3D TVs are becoming "the next big thing" here in the USA - but what about Sweden? Do they even care about fancy and expensive electronics like people do here in the USA?

Flipping/ resale - I'd say hold off. My suggestion would be to develop it and gear it towards people in Sweden (links to retailers there, etc..).

Television3D.es sold for 1600 EUR a few weeks ago. The buyer is Samsung Spain.
English isn't the primary language in Spain, but 3D isn't about English.
I'm sure there are many people know what 3D is but they have no idea that 3D stands for 'three dimensional' in English.

A forum member mentioned in another thread that in certain country, TV 3D is the correct language. E.g. Spain and France.
I have TV3D.com and the highest offer was from Spain.

good points, a few notes; nobody would type "tredimensionell tv" into a browser, however as we learned from when the 3d cinema came here, everybody refers to it as "3d bio" (the equivalent). so the term is the correct one, the timing COULD not be better if you (like sony etc.) believe that 3d tv is gonna be huge (not saying that i am).

Regarding the crave for electronics, Sweden is right behind the US (in front when it comes to things like internet penetration)

I would think that IF 3dtv is going to be as big as some it might, this name would be worth even five figs to a producing brand..

Its a big name for Sweden. Roofcash, ask first Cristina Stenbeck or someone in her staff (Kinnevik corp). IMHO xxxxxx crowns minimum to begin a negotiation. MSB.se sold for 950000 crowns, an example only.
Im very unhappy that i missed that:)
Lycka till! (Good luck)
