Well i own nearly 30 t0 50 LLLL.coms. quad, triple, double single.. almost all patterns possible.

But as we have seen for the past one year the sales have declined and the industry has gone to its ultimate low.

What do you guys think??Any hope left in this industry?

I think the only ones that sell are the brandables, or if a company or group uses the initials

there are two different cultures of how some see LLLL imo

seems to me...

that most newbs see them as quad, triple, double, single, blah blah

and they buy and sell to each other based on a "predetermined" price range.

whereas, the more experienced domainers see them specifically for the acronym usage and every now and then, will pluck a few of them out of circulation for an end-user.

but that's just imo...

If you are following the LLLL.com market, then you know that prices are rising since June. The minimum price of all premium LLLL.com rose by 30% from July to August. If you follow NJ/SNAP/SEDO auctions you have probably realized it.. Bargain days are soon to be over.

Reseller activity does not tell about the market as a whole. I find that they have been overrated by domainers at some point, now they are back to more sustainable levels.

They were extremely undervalued in the past 2 months (and are still undervalued imo). I saw an LLLL.com sold at Snap, which had hundreds of acronym possibilities, 300k+ results in google, and the auction ended at $220. The buyer took it to Sedo, and it was sold for $800 plus in that very week. It is getting harder and harder to pick such domains at a good price.

I don't think anyone should be surprised, this was meant to happen.

Some LLLL.com's will sell for high price, but that is not because they are 4L's, but because they make sense by themselves.....

Certain circles will continue to buy and sell amongst themselves, but that is it...

I have seen you on the 'other' forum, I think you are safe, till you get banned from there :)
