48 hours is an awful long time to wait to post on a sales lead.If you get an offer through pm you have to wait 2 days to post. Alot of sales are spontanious, and to wait 2 days there gone. Just my Opinion

I would just wish all offers were posted but you have some people not wanting to post offers. I'm just saying with PM Offers its difficult to work with 48 hours instead of 24 hours. Todd

Not everyone Notices editing..in 48 hours your listing could be 3 pages in and un noticable.

I have already suggested the same thing in the exclusive forum a month ago, but one of the point of view is our posts would get 2 times faster bumped down also. Maybe we can vote for this? Have members vote and choose 24 hours or 48 hours would be best.

why not give exclusive members the option of 24hr bump, after all we have paid a lot of money for the privilege of being exclusive, and the benefits are not exactly what they used to be to put it mildly

Most offers I get are through pm...they do it so not to bump the post and have other people see the offer.

I think exclusives should be trusted to follow the non bump rule to add new information in a 24 hour period.

why does a post need to be bumped if you get an offer via pm?

why not just deal with that offer via pm?

the reason many make offers via pm, is because they want it to be either confidential or stay low-profile.

we already had the bump set previously after 24 hrs, and because of abuse it was set to 48hrs.

no sense in keep going back and forth on this issue.

for exclusives, in exclusive section there are different permissions, so no need to change.

I've had a bunch of pms stating good for 24 hours etc. As a seller you want that offer posted. You might get an higher offer. If you cant post it, you probably wont get another offer.

of course someone making an offer does not want more competition....and the offer maker of course wants more competition...there are so many posts here, offers really get swallowed up...I would not be in favor of a bump w/o any new info such as an offer via pm...but people routinely set limits on pm'ed offers...as noted above.

How about a QUALIFYING PM Offer? Only offers from Exclusive members can make them? Then it could be an instant post if needed. Just a thought.

Now I just had my First thread closed violation #12. Was that because of this opinion or coincidence?
