5 .COM Indian States ! What should I do?

Hello,

Few years back, when Indian users were still gripping the domain saga, fortunately i was able to register / back-order / capture FIVE INDIAN STATE names in .COM (out of total 28 indian states) with "hyphen -" in them.

All these domains are the most attractive tourist destinations not only for Outside visitors but for Indians as well.

In India, most people still look to type .com only and not even much of .net or .org (IN CONTEXT to .COM) exceptional these days are .IN and 3rd lvl .in.

I might have parked few of the domains in the beginning but do not have any parked stats for them. One of the domain i am using just for my personal site and the rest are just lying around with no revenue generation.

Please suggest, shall i go ahead with my thoughts of
1) putting them on Auction
2) OR get them developed into a website

If i go with option 1, shall i get a domain appraisal? I do not have much clue on these domains value but know they have very high potential.

If i go with option 2, what type of domain will suit a State Name that can generate good revenue?

If someone might help here, will be great!

the question you ask, should be decided by you

you have the choice to develop or auction, which would add more value?

maybe if you developed them first, then auctioned them later, you could get better returns.

These domains are fresh in the sense that they have never been developed except one which i am using for my personal website as a visit to that state .

I have read so many places that an already develoepd domain fetches less value then a developed one. I do undestand few points behind this ideology of few cos, but then puts me in a fix, to develop, to auction.

Yes, i agree, deevelop, generate traffic and then sell are good, but .. but ,,, if... these words are troubling me..

since this is causing you so much stress, why not just ignore the domains and let them drop?

then use some of that energy on something else

Anyways, jokes apart, on a serious note i am looking at.

If i have to develop , i have to develop anyhow.

This Qtr target of 225 websites will be achieved hopefully. Post that, can imagine ! phew

but then , this development is the last resort...

wth are you talking about? I have no idea what the OP is talking about...
Just sell the domains if you don't know what to do with them.

What domains are they? Might as well post...you may get interested buyers here anyway if they're really "that good". -_-

The problem is the investment in the domains in terms of fianancial and manhrs.

I have got many feedbacks now thru PM, and thanks to all the mates .

Till date, 70% are with developments, 20% with parking and 10% to push tem for sale.

Will wait for few more days for the feedback, and totally going by my sense and these few facts, will take action accordingly.

Pleae keep the suggestions coming.
