Considering they stole the layout from eNom and their domain is registered with bulkregister.com, unsecure form collecting credit card details. Looks like an obvious credit card theif site.

$5 domains? since the wholesale price to the registrars is $6 seems like it would be hard to make a profit. :dead:

The thing that gives it way is not HTTPS - I mean have never seen a genuine website asking for credit card details on the front page.

Perhaps we should report them to somebody? Gullible people could be caught out...

I clicked on the 'PURCHASE' button without entering any details, and it redirected to this IP address:
64.177.163.88

Which also happens to redirect to the 'homepage'.

An IP search revealed it to belong to Alabanza, some webhost company (Alabanza.com).

I have sent an email to them asking to investigate the site...

Perhaps someone should put a Sticky on here to warn people about them?

Curiously the IP address still works (64.177.163.88).
The domain is parked at ZoneEdit.com now.

Nope, I haven't heard from them yet - but it's pretty obvious it's a con.

I have already emailed the owner of the IP address block (a webhost), but haven't heard from them either.

The URL isn't working once again, but the IP is - perhaps something to do with ZoneEdit updates.
I'll be emailing ZoneEdit too - to see if they can help.

BTW, whois details of the domain if anyone else want's to follow this matter up:

This is just funny. He registered the domain from BulkRegister, get free DNS service from zoneedit and resell domain from Enom.

It short, you can provide those services from Enom alone ... :) bad marketing idea.

Just my point of view.
