In today's market they are a "dime a dozen" I am afraid. Post 'em on eBay with 99 cents minimum AND a $15 transfer fee (payable to you personally).

At least you will make the difference between the transfer fee and you reg cost (assuming you paid less than $15).

Timechange got rid of many 3char dot-coms this way.

In French, I see 2 names : P-V.org and Q-I.net
Indeed, P-V means "procès-verbal" (the fine by police !), and QI (without dash) means "quotient intellectuel" your IQ, I suppose.

Whois-Search. I would do what Dots of Domains said. Post them on Ebay for minimum with $15 transfer fee. Take whatever offered for them. Personally, I would not buy or reg them.

Good luck!

Benno....it's not like the past anymore....there's no aftermarket for these types of names. That's why I am dumping all my 3 character .coms (which I could have got $50+ each a year or two ago) Those times are over...

V-W.org should be worth somthing to a VW afficionado or auto club.
Trademark issue? I haven't looked but it is probably registered. THe dash and the .org should make it less of a flagrant....crime, I would think.
$50 for V-W.org

sometimes if a person wants a certain combination you can sell them $200 each - like I have done in the past

Though its so that someone may want a certain combination, the chances of them coming along are very poor, especially non-sensical org and nets, even if they are 3 characters.

Most domain names are actually liabilities and not assets. This is why more often than not you can not give away names free.

In fact, there was a recent thread here where someone tried to do that, actually give away some names.

http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3295

Its likely he had no takers. Most domains are worthless (not the DomeBase names but generally speaking) unless the name is a good keyword/key phrase name and/or a developed web-site. However, since some were developed sites and listed on Google perhaps DomeBase did give some away. But even then it's still tough to give names away. Perhaps DomeBase could tell us if he had any takers.

Sorry if this sounds negative but I would be willing to bet at least 90% of everyones names could not be given away free of charge if they were posted here

Why would anyone want to receive a liability? This is one reason I am letting many of my names expire. For the most part I am only keeping names which have good returns on Overture or names already developed and names with good potential as they are real names, key words, key industry terms or real phrases.

Whois-Search, P-V.org could become in France, Belgium, Switzerland (and Canada?) a "citizen" site, were people exchange their experiences mainly about traffic-fines, to claim about unfair fines, to advise others how to avoid it, even only to tell their story, it can even become at longer range a kind of citizen's lobby able to influence governement on law-drafting ...
