I know that these 6.95 accounts being sold here are sub-accounts and the one who sold us that accounts can see which domains we buy!

This is not my problem at all..But i see that he can even login to his resellers account and change the prices, info vs vs...

is that really possible???

I am working on API and soon i will open up a reseller site with that account...I will sell for example at 10.99$...but while i was selling domains..Can my up level reseller change the prices to 15.99$ ??

I will try to build up a business here..so if that kind of actions are possible....i can not risk my business...He may promise that "he will not change your password and prices"...but this will never be guarantee and building up business depending on promises will not be a clever move!

So my question is simple...

can my up level reseller change my password again whenever he wants? and can he change my prices whenever he wants???

How will it be safe to build a business over a 6.95 reseller account which is bought for 100$ from an old uplevel reseller...

Now think of the sub-resllers who do not even know who their parent reseller is. But it's not a very big problem becuase your reseller gains nothing by any change s/he make.

Your passwords can not be changed by your reseller, your should change them yourself often - and the secret quiestion to.

Enom support is very good at these types of problems.

DotComster,

I created a new sub-account.Then logged-out and loged-in as the new sub-account and changed my pass...

Then i logged out again and logged in with my reseller acount...
I tried to change the pass of the sub-account but it did not let me to do so...I tried to change the prices and it was dissalowed again...So i was happy :) (Think that the person i bought this 6.95 accont will never edit my settings)

But then i tried to use the "delete" command at the sub-account management panel and guess what happened!

I deleted the newly created sub-account!
I logged out and retry to login with that sub account but there was no such member!!!

As you know, i am trying to build a web site using eNom API and resell domains in my country... My target is so big and one day if i can sell too much domains...The man who sold me that 6.95 accont can come and blackmail me!He may want more money and if i did not he can "delete" my account and business!!!

I am worried....

Don't be worried.

NamePopper recently posted some tests with his enom account - once a domain, or cash is in the sub account, it can't be deleted.

Thanks Lats,

But i tested again and was able to change the price and password!

As you mentioned above...If i push one of my domains in that account..Will my password and price be safe and will my account be undeletable!

Thanks again...

Everything is safe, apart from the pricing - that can be changed.

So he can change the price without my notice!

If i create a new sub-account with 8.95$...
And lets say my seller tries to change the price from 6.95 to 9.95...what will be that sub-account i created(8.95)

What will be?
I am too paranoic i guess :)

So...
It is not a clever idea to invest in reselling business with a 6.95 sub-account!

I was planning to build a site and was about to make an agreement with a native bank for cc processing...

And one day the man that sold me that 6.95 sub account will come and change the price and destroy my business!!!

That is not a good idea i guess now!

You can't build up business with a man's promise that he will never increase the prices!

I guess i will give up!

You seller has a reputation to uphold, especially if they are a member here.

Deliliah, you worry too much! :) Get a second reseller account from somewhere if it gives you the piece of mind.

If you are going to be doing a heavy volume of registrations, you will need thousands of dollars in your enom account anyway.

So if you are that worried, and your business depends on it, go directly with enom.

They require a $6950.00 deposit, but you will need that in there if you do heavy volume, because if your account ever goes to $0, the customer will get an error page, and probably not return to your site.

So, If you are that worried, go with enom directly.

(By the way, this person is not a sub-reseller of mine)

You can negotiate with eNom to create a master reseller account for less than $6950.00 :)

We were talking about $6.95. You must pre-purchase 1000 domains at $6.95, equalling $6950.00.

Thanks for your advices BigFart,

I guess i will have to think twice before getting into that biz.

Anyway is there a registrar that will offer lower prices than 6.49?
The cheapest one i know is dotregistrar but is there another one?

And i will resell in my country only so i will have to translate the API...Which parties support this?

My transfers are $6.95. The $6.95 per registration account was offered for $3k.
