OKay no one is replying so I ll take a stab at it. I looked at it when it expired earlier today.

Looks like all the links are adult hosting oriented.

Its a parody of sexhost of course.

Enter it in ALexa ranking page to see a snapshot of its home page. Looks adult doesnt it?

If you are into adult domain reselling or developing it would be worth something ($150-$250 maybe even more if you know the channel) despite the unappealing name, IMO.

The number 6 is pronounced s-e-x in some European countries. So it does not suprise me that it was used for a adult hosting service. If you have traffic to go along with the existing links then it could be worth at least $500-$1,000. However, the domain alone without its traffic is hardly worth anything.

Good luck!

Yup, I found one of these Adult Domains as well. 1300+ links. I had it on eBay and then thought na, I will keep it for a while and build more links to it. Its a nice start. Alot of Thai Adult links to it.

Xplicity.com has at least some traffic accoring to Alexa.

It is better than 6host.com for this reason alone.

Question to all:
------------------\
How often are the traffic ratings updated? You mentioned you ve had it sitting for a while with no fwd'ing so I kind of wondered....how long it takes for the traffic to die out....
I ve seen Alexa traffic ratings change on deleted domains within random time passage but I have no real estimate of update interval.

TIA!

When I first reged the name it had 2400+ links. Within a couple days it droped to 1300+. I am working to get a page up asap. I dont think it will drop like that again right away. I should have something up by Sunday so hopefully that will stop the links from vanishing..

That's what I meant to be asking.

Thank you! I have a couple of domains with the same problem. Does it seem to you that links and traffic ratings drop fast after an aquisition (I am sure they were dropping even from when the previous owner stopped operating..)? The benefit of preexisting traffic may be lost unless you rush to develop something and hope to live up or surpass old glory.

Just some thoughts,,,
