Offers 7 year established image hosting site - imgtank.com - huge page views / uniques

The site imgtank.com was started way back in 2005, as a free public and private image hosting site, which has gained a tremendous following over the years with very little input from us, and which could be greatly enhanced with some small code modifications. However, as an (18 year) established ISP and Satcoms service provider (transcom.net / transcom.co.uk), its not really within our realm, and neither do we have the resources to look after it, so we are offering it for sale on a best offer basis.

The site is simplistic in itself, allowing fast addition of images by clients, in accordance with code set parameters, such as upload limit size and types, and outputs four types of html clips for the users to implement as they please, as well as keeping track and displaying / listing the users recent uploaded images. The dbase is set to purge at a defined rate, currently we have it set to 1 year.

The site allows for the viewing of recently uploaded images in the public sector with ads, and in the adult sector, without ads (to conform with google policies), the other pages, including home, have google ads as well. The number of images to display in the recent uploads can also be changed, we have set this to 100.

The process of advertising has a much greater capability which we haven't implemented, even so, it does produce around Â£60 ($90) per month from google ads, with around 6000 unique visitors per month, and around 27000 page views per month on average without spikes (as shown below), its the latter that hasn't been exploited.

When a user uploads an image, and it is selected for view by subsequent users, in a forum or wherever, currently it is not embedded with adwords, just the image, so the revenue made at the moment through the site is only from the home page and users selecting 'recent uploads'

Looking at the stats, if the images themselves were embedded then the ads impression rates would me many thousands more, as each page view would present them, we just haven't had the time to do this but it would be relatively easy. This would go ballistic, as on the stats some images alone get more than 10000 views.

So onto the stats, two cuts taken below, one being the last month and the other the past 3 months, used this to show tremendous spikes where an image is popular, ie, 154000 page views in 3 months and 20000 unique visitors.

We are open to offers for the site and domain, and have received several unsolicited offers to date, one of which is reasonable.
