interestingly the new owners, casino 770 (biggest in france) bought 77-0.com too off a member here and is at np too.
went for mid xxx only as you'd expect as he sent to auction and you need 2 bidders

i know who owns 7-70 and he is exclusive here, he got a low offer a few weeks ago and refused

looks like they want to hoover up everything

Nice end-user sale.

That was a steal. I'm not seeing anything for under 10k these days, even reseller. The Sedo auctioned NNN's are pulling in 16k and now, because of this sale, plus as Bob mentioned the other $300k+ sale, I don't know how many more NNN's will be "wholesaled" at auction.

To put this in perspective: the LLL.com market is about 17.5 times bigger than the NNN.com market. So 2 sales of over $300k is like seeing 35 LLL's go for over $300k each in the past few months.

770.com shows what can happen when the right buyer comes along. It never would have been appraised for that amount in any domain forum.

Very true. But it's worth noticing what *kinds* of names end users are willing to pay huge bucks for. It's not just an even lottery: look at the DNJ top sales of the year. They are almost all short, common .com words or very short letter or number combinations. Two NNN's made the top ten and a couple more were just off the chart. Plus I know there has been at least one private NNN.com end-user sale which would have placed VERY nicely (not one of mine :undecided:).

SORRY but I just don't believe ANY of these so-called sales!

Just organized hype by dnjournal and all the auction sites to set trends for others to follow - the domain industry is in every SHADY from the topo-down.

Have you ever submitted a sale report to DNjournal? I doubt it. If you had you won't make that accusation.
