This is a little different than domain names, but it is related in that it is part of the affiliate marketing like some here use on their domain names.

Say you have a domain name that gets traffic for an industry that you can't find a web-form affiliate program, you may want to look into Pay Per Call. Once you get the offer set up, you can make a page to promote the pay per call offer, and as people call in, you earn a commission.

But mine is different in that I own the 800 number, 800-266-2728, and Comcast owns 800-266-2278. I get calls to this number since I first got the number in 2011. In the last 12 month, there were 7500 calls that came through that line. I have a deal with a company that pays so much per 1 minute phone call, but it ws the other day that I found one that pays a higher amount and decided to give them a shot. I have made one commissioned call through the new system. There were 45 calls and one resulted in a commission. I know mis-dials are not the same as people directly dialing it after they end on your web page, as they are more likely to want customer service than NEW service, so that is what accounts for the high hangup rate.I am looking for the people that want to buy new service, not for those who are already part of Comcast.

Hope this helps someone.

800 and 900 numbers work differently... I was thinking at one time to forward the calls to a 900 number and bill it to their phone bill and forward them to Comcast's official like, but after paying 800 for the number I had to pay 50 a month to keep it, and I was not sure it would be legal or how to set it up.
