I think when examining such name Pred you have to ask yourself soe harder questions.
1) Why does it get traffic ( source ) and will the use of that traffic infringe on a mark. In that case I dont care how much more traffic a name gets. If the result is a name with big traffic and now limited use it was a foolish reasoning to pay more.
2) Why in the world is a round number more likely to be used by an end user. A number if used lines up with a product or service, I see no evidence a round number does better. I think one of the reasons for the down turn in price is people opening their eyes up to such non sense. Sure we know top 10 this and that, 007 for bond and so forth but come on, it is the stupidity of man that would dictate value based on this, in fact that was evident with 11.com recent. It took a nuttie professor to make it worth more.
