I read somewhere something like that...

What do you think? Or is it less? Or even more? I want to know your opinion...

Probably more like 99.7% ;)

I would guess the same percentage of developed sites never make any money either. :rain::faint:

OK, then let's speak about the domains offered here. There are obviously much more sellers here than buyers.

I'd say you are optimistic. How many domains are now registered, including TLDs and ccTLDs? Over 200 million? How many sell per year? Thousands? I'd estimate that 99.99% will never sell.

I don't really agree to that. Well, good names are being owned and hold for bigger sales... They will be sold again, but probably more expensive every time a domain is flipped. I have to agree that there is going to be less and less good .com around but they will be resale.

This is an interesting question. It is likely very very high, 99% or higher for sure. Since the only limitations to what you can register are found on your keyboard, a ton of "crap" can make it onto the scene.

I guess just take a random sampling of 100 domains out there, does 1 out of 100 make it to see a sale? I would think the majority of domains registered are never intended on even being sold and never make it out to consumers or other domainers as well.
