I didn't even think of that. It's also the day my wife's grandfather died - WWII vet. Survived the Battle of the Bulge and a few other scary encounters in Europe (including one where he saw most of his friends get mowed down because a train conductor stopped the train at the end of his shift - all of their supplies were in another (locked) car and were in the direct path of an advancing troop of German solders and tanks.
He only survived because he fell into a ditch and watched tanks go over him.
thank you to all veterans and today's soldiers for giving me the right to live my life the way i do... if it wasn't for your courage and strength.. we as people would not be able to live the life that we do... may all your faith in what you believe guide you to a safe return home.. thank you very much.
p.s. as to us that have not served please remember that it is our moral duty to make a difference here while our soldiers are over there protecting our right of freedom.. make a difference today so that our soldiers when they return they will be able to notice there reason for fighting for this country.
