Since two character .co.uk domains are not possible, are letter/hyphen/letter .co.uk domains popular?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Two character names are allowed in .co.uk, but 2 letter names are not (who on earth made up that rule!). For example-

ai.co.uk is not allowed, a1.co.uk is.

Sorry - doesn't really answer your question, but I thought it might help :D

I can't think of any successful *-*.co.uk domains - personally I wouldn't bother

I did register one yesterday, but won't do it again.

Thanks DomainPairs and revsorg, you both helped me out here.
