A surge in .TV usage?

I've been noticing a lot of advertising with sites using a .TV ccTLD. Has anyone else noticed this?

Some of them are good domains, too (would catch a minimum of mid $xx,xxx if they were a .com).

The other night I even saw 3 commercials in a row for a service or product using a .tv ccTLD.

Anyone else notice this?

i m getting more type in traffic in my .tv domains that relate to Greek market.
After some popular website that had been developed in .com was shut down by the Greek Police(what a shame) the new owner moved it on .tv. That made a change over my type in traffic.

Yep - loads of ads over here with .tv domains.
