Very nice read. Ron Sheridan accomplished a lot at DS. My only question is why did he decide to leave so abruptly?

Thanks Adam - much appreciated. Ron's story was overdue - when he announced he was leaving his full time job at Oversee and getting ready to start a new chapter in his life it looked like it was the perfect time to recognize him for what he has done over the past 8 years in this business.

In LA, Ron told me it had actually been in the works for some time. He was ready to get some personal time back and look for an opportunity to work with a start up company, but since he will continue to consult for Oversee, he did not want to leave them in the lurch. He said they have been talking about when he could go without disrupting current projects. Both sides apparently agreed that once the DOMAINfest Global conference was out of the way (a show Ron played a big role in as he has in the past) that would be a time that would work for everyone so that is when Ron let his friends know he would be going. He also continues to be a major stockholder in Oversee.

Indeed, Ron outdid himself. It's a very well-presented article that delivers a lot of "behind the scenes" information, in a professional and humane manner. A tenner for DNJournal!

Ron was my very first contact in the ppc world, in the first days of DomainSponsor. I have enjoyed many
Vodka's with him, and wish him continued success...hopefully with his guitar in
Paris :)

Time to cash in and enjoy life!!!
