Might as well post this list of .US domains here, since I grabbed it for somebody else.
A bunch of them are meant as shortcuts for auto dealerships. "Sell Your Truck Dot Us" has a good ring to it for a TV commercial, and it's much more memorable than giving out a phone number. It has been my intention to call up auto dealerships around the country to pitch that idea until one of them "gets it". Given the number of dealerships, that shouldn't be too hard. And I think they'd like the "us" / "U.S.A" angle. So far, I just haven't gotten around to it.
