Have decided to create such a topic, where we will have a collection of Acronyms and Abbreviations, which are short descriptions in our domaining journey.
I have such topic on my tech website, the technology is full of them, if a technician does not know their meaning, he will strugle to understand the topic and do the repairs.
Similarly I feel is with domaining, I will share a couple but feel free to reply what you find out.

ICANN = Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers
TLD = Top Level Domain
gTLD = General/Generic Top Level Domain
ccTLD = Country Code Top Level Domain
DN = Domain Name
NS = Name Server
DNS = Domain Name System/Service/Server
COM = Commercial
NET = Network
ORG = Organization
XYZ = last letters of alphabet (Google owns it)
nTLD = New/National Top Level Domain
