Hi all-

Looking for some ideas for new projects, and I see people selling books all over the place on getting rich with adsense, etc. I've always made a few bucks with adsense, but never anything I could live off of. It got me to thinking, are these books the answer? Or just someone who had some success, and found the best way to make a few extra bucks passing on common knowledge....?

Does anyone out there make a full time living with just content-rich adsense sites? I'm an SEO guy and have time for something like this should it be something capable of five figures per month.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

It is possible to make a living online selling information.

I truly feel that the best way is to deversify:

PPC (ie. Adsense, YPN, etc.), domain parking/sales, ebook sales, content subscription, consulting, etc.

Add SEO and email marketing into the mix.

Include as much original content as time allows. Hire writers if you can afford them.

Develop a philosophy in your projects. Don't design to make a buck. Design sites that you yourself would want to visit.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Domain parking is worth peanuts, the real money is in developing and building a company.

I have heard high marks about Michael Cheyne's Adsense Videos. I have yet to buy them, but I watched some promotional videos given away as a bonus. I must say, from what I saw was great! You can get them here: Adsense Videos

I am not going to recommend anything I haven't tried or read yet, but I got a copy of "The Adsense Code" by Joel Comm and I plan on reading that, if you want to get that go to: The Adsense Code

Also, Liz Tomey has put out some good products, I have not bought them but received some free and they have valuable information in them.
I believe her site is TomeyMarketing.com

I will post some more info after I read some more information.

That's very true. Nothing beats hard work. If you're not in Web development or have money to hire a developer this can be a real challenge, though. Domain parking is only good for a temp home for domains slated for development and/or high traffic domains.
