I doubt that any domainer will pay 800k.

It only has a low overture figure.

overture figure wont matter i guess for such a generic.....

The company who buys this would be focussed on building a brand on it rather that getting type ins.... but ya 800 K for this name would be hard to get....

Lets see, this would be interesting

$800K does seem a bit steep, doesn't it?

I've had good offers recently for Advertise.info... maybe I should hold out to see how this plays out :)

This looks like it will be good news for my domain Advertise.es. It's for sale on dnf right now. Should I hold onto this?

For sure. Whoever decides to purchase this name can easily brand it and sell for much much more later down the line.

^. In that regard, you are talking about a company, and no longer a domain.

300k imo unless some advertising giant is looking to rebrand their website! then i would say 1-2 million. depends how long the owner wants to wait, if i got an offer of 600k on the domain i would be tempted to sell ofcourse IF i was the owner!

500k easily for Advertise.com

Advertise.es is a different story in my opinion. The .es extension is not that popular and won't yield that high of a price. It's just opinion.

advertising.com is a fairly big company or did you just mean wording?

hi, thanks for helping me, I meant just as a word, regardless of who is behind the names, just like if you were choosing the best word and both were available :)

cheers

You bring up an interesting point, csite, with the idea of the rebranding...this one will definitely be an interesting one to watch...Cheers!

This is the same fellow who asked me to broker Housing.com .. He also asked me to broker this.. He has yet to pay two sellers of domains he bid on on my site.

I'm curious too how this plays out since he offered near exclusivity on the two domains and they were both plastered everywhere making my job impossible.

I guess it's cutthroat enought to do whatever one has to do to make a sale..

Pathetic..
