First of all, I would tweak the landing page. Have some actual content on the page instead of a floating tag cloud. Google would want to see some meaty content on the home page rather than a series of tags. You can have a drop down menu above the content that lets you choose your destination. Have at least 500+ words on the main page.

The best way to generate revenue from a travel site is to charge local travel agencies for listings or advertisements. But for that to happen, you'll need significant amount of traffic. Don't worry about revenues right now and instead focus on building up the traffic.

Try guest blogging, article marketing, asking (read: begging) for links from other webmasters. Your link building strategy should be directly related to your content strategy. Create amazing content, consistently, and market it well on social media websites and by developing relationships with bloggers in your niche. Great content, properly marketed, will create hundreds of thousands of links to your site automatically. Never think of content independently of SEO and vice versa.

You're breaking the AdSense TOS. You can't put ads on a page that has no content. I don't see any content on your site at all. It's basically like a parked domain. Add content to the site before Google bans you from AdSense and Google search.
