I purchased a quite nice bitcoin-related .co domain via a fixed price listing on godaddy on Nov 3. Godaddy has verified payment, however the seller is claiming they don't own the domain. The whois information is privacy protected, and they emails we have exchanged are from a gmail account with no name.
I assume it will be no problem getting money back from godaddy, but I think there is a good chance that they do own the domain, and are backing out because they realized they undersold. Is there any way to verify? Snooping whois information leads to an endless chain of different email addresses and names for clearly related sites. That could just be for SEO, but it's troubling that they wont even reveal their name in a private email.
What are my options? Suggestions greatly appreciated!
