I am planning to launch minisites about various topics like trading, travel, stress and many more. Each will have 80 articles. This is also can be integrated in to one site. So i just wanted to know which is better idea? Single website or individual sites? Please suggest.

You will get different opinions about this. Personally I think mini sites are the way to go.

Each idea has it's pluses and minuses, I'd say mostly depends on what your plans/goals are regarding this.

I would take a WikiFarm and open up individual wikis.

I concur with gmac, if they are not closely related subjects comfortable under one heading then multiple minisites would seem the better idea.
