Advice: What's the best way to catch a name marked redemption at Network Solutions?

Can anyone tell me what is the best way to get a hold of a domain marked as being in the redemption period at NS?

Do NS redemption names automatically wind up over there at snap or namejet auctions?
Should I wait for it to just drop?

True (registry) redemption ?
Check the status of the domain here: http://registrar.verisign-grs.com/whois/

If the name is already in redemption, it's free for all but Snap tends to beat the others at catching deleted domains.
