:-O Anyone know what has happened to Afternic? You bring up the site and get "Afternic.com is for sale". All various links lead to this page.

Thanks,
DD :worried:

Looks like their DNS system is messed up...

Had an offer at 6pm, and can't respond to it...

I agree that it must be DNS/Web Server related. They allow people to set up "for sale" pages by assigning them to their nameservers. It's easy for some schemes to swallow up things they aren't supposed to, by error.

Is there still a problem?
When I go to login at Afternic a security box comes up saying "The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site".

As of right now, it still comes up with the sale page when I use www.afternic.com. Without the www will bring up the home page but then you get certificate problems when you try to log in. Something weird is still going on...

Glad to know it wasn't a security issue...
