Sorry but I need to gripe...

Is it just me, or are these whois codes become harder and harder to read? I find myself squinting just to read the codes to type in...If you are bored, type in a name a register.com, and then do a whois. Their code is impossible to read! It took me 5 tries just to get it right.

I usually use other whois providers, so this isn't too big of a problem.

They are actually graphics and therefore NOT resizable!

LOL! These graphical codes do not look any better when enlarged: they are designed to be "clarity-challenged" so machines can't read them. Unforunately, this also happens to those human with optical problems like minor color blindness. So domnet, you're not a Borg, are you? :D

Whois codes?

Why not just buy a whois program?

My point goes beyond just the whois codes. These things are popping up everywhere, and some are hard to read! Today I got hit with two with my bank and Paypal.

I don't get it.

Your text is too small to read?

Maybe get corective lenses or a bigger monitor?

Like I said, they want to make sure you're not a Borg. [/Joke] Seriously, these graphic code things are there to prevent people running scripts to access their interface, be it a sign-up process or password-protected login. There HAS TO be some fuzzy elements as 100% clarity would allow OCR software to read.

EDIT: fuzzy, not fussy :D
