Like most geo-domains, the tagging of the country it belongs to drops its value significantly.

I don't see buyers for this kind of domain.

Sure it can be developed into a tourist portal of some sort, but now is not the right time.

It's one more available domains that was available for a reason.

I don't see any value in this domain. You can drop it or wait for the USA to go in there, blow it all to bloody hell, create a real democracy and start rebuilding the entire infrastructure of the entire country which may be years or never. Otherwise, Syria is off most people's list of destinations to go to, especially when they just found 65+ bodies with hands tied behind their back there.

Which leads me to my next point. It was registered the day/after news broke about that and most likely nobody in the world would have heard about that place if it weren't for the carnage reported. In my eyes it was an attempt to get type in traffic or somebody interested in that name. If that was the case, you're just giving domaining a bad name by registering tragic events / places when they unfold.

$0 now who knows what later

Thanks everyone.

@David

It was just a coincidence, I scanned a list of geos and it was among those available. I'm not the kind of domainer who profits from tragedies.
