Anyone know of a good (pref. cheap) alternative to DomSellerPro?

$75 is a bit expensive for what it does.

I'm thinking of doing my own PHP Domain Seller software, but if it's already been done, then it would save me a lot of time.

I thought $75 was reasonable.

I looked for several days trying to find a canned script that compares to DSP. Trust me...there is nothing else out there...free or otherwise.
Its worth the $75+ IMO
Had I known it was owned by a member (-RJ-) here at DNF I probably wouldn't have wasted my time searching for something else anyway.

Good Luck!

I wholeheartedly agree with the previous assessments of Domain Seller Pro. It's an amazing script, and the personal technical support that RJ provides is second to none.

You can't go wrong with this program.

Good Luck!

Best regards,

Hmmm... I might do my own then.
I need the PHP practice anyway ;) but I might be able to offer a version of it (as a cheaper alternative to DSP) later on...

I did a lot of research on other software similar to DSP.

For the price, it is a great deal!!!

I need to buy something like DSP. But, I am looking for
something fancier. I was going to communicate with RJ but have
not gotten around to it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

 Are you serious? $75 is a bargain for DSP.

I searched everywhere before finding DSP which I am happy to have, and found just about nothing else out there. The only thing close I found was an auction script modified for domains at http://www.usanetcreations.com/domainauction.html , A mod to the everyauction cgi script, and someone else on this forum talking about making one.

Right now there just isn't another off the shelf alternative.

I've made some suggestions on enhancing DSP, but apparently that isn't a current priority. Maybe if a few other current users ask as well...

Arrrggh.. MySql is definitely my week point.
I've hated SQL in every shape and form since I started using web scripts! lol

Maybe part of the reason why is some people insist on using SQL databases for the simplest of tasks, eg counters.
A bit like going down to the newsagents in a harrier jump jet!

Starting to sound like its worth the money?
Your not one of those programmers that works for minumum wage are you?
If so...knock it off! The rest of us will starve

It only takes a few minutes to make it look like it didn't come right out of the box.
This took about an hour! Haven't worked on it since...shame on me :D

I think (hope) he intends to sell his single unused and purchased license for the code and not the code itself or illegal copies. Most reasonable software licenses allow this, but -RJ- can probably clarify.
