I'm not sure about platforms but I have a couple buyers who are often looking for decent sites. When you have a list send me the info for the ones that have any traffic/rev stats.

Thanks for the input melly. The bulk of my sites are new and will have more new ones. When I ompile the list of sites with traffic will pm you.
Still looking for a list of site selling sites that people had success with and that includes selling new sites with no traffic stats or income claimed.

I heard flippa.com charges you the purchase fee and whether or not the buyer actually pays the bid amount you owe it. Considering the cap is $499 plus the other fee, is there a better online website vending portal?

I have tried Flippa.com a few times with no worthwhile inquries. IMO, Flippa is not desirable since they charge a listing fee ($19) for a very basic short term listing with any extra features being at extra cost. In addition, the Flippa users are expecting to see good revenue stats with the site income being more important vs other venues. I also think their name sucks big time and would have a negative connotation to end user buyers.

Create your own sales platform and promote your own site via adwords.

That is maybe the best way of going especially if you have a website selling site and it is indexed well..
That is something I had been working on btw.. I had that with link sales

I have a 100% success rate with using flippa... Both sites I put up had no revenue stats, but sold anyway. If you have great sites that you think other webmasters would want, then that $19 listing fee is well worth it, just promote the listing everywhere.

And I always make sure the buyer pays all fees.

The opposite of my experience with Flippa. Can I ask you what names you sold there and how you promoted the sales?

One domain sold there had no promotions - I guess I was just lucky that someone liked it!
The second name was a well developed website, which I promoted by placing banners on the site.

How odd, I didn't even remember that I had an active account there.

Lots of people selling sites on ebay. Some of them have been doing pretty well.
