 Hi, how could this be so fast!

I started the process 30 minutes ago, and now the Domain has been transfered from Netfims to my GodaDDy account, I have it in my Control Panel and my info is already at the whois database.

This was suppost to take at least 3 days, but thi is GREAT!

New record breaker. I read about one whose transfer completed roughly in
27 hours from start to finish.

There are lots of reasons why registrars "delay" transfers. However, no one
is required to complete such in 24 hours or less.

Then again, forcing a deadline is unrealistic given other circumstances that
are going on. I'm sure you know what they are.

Godaddy is really good. I had transfered a domain from somewhere to godaddy for only 12 minutes.

I think a lot of times the other register just drags their feet to get a jab in for losing business. But, Godaddy is the best to transfer to. They have a few detractors who have some self serving interest in opinions.

I know I had domain I bought and started the transfer to Godaddy and the other register held up up long enough for the transfer to expire. When I started the transfer again they did the samething. I finally had my lawyer send a letter to them and the next time I started the transfer it was processed in an hour. I wouldn't advise spending the money on an attorney every time you get sandbagged but sometimes you just have to.

It all depends on the losing registrar's policies. GoDaddy is good to transfer OUT of :D As long as you get the request in and confirm the transfer, there is an option to approve the outgoing move to the gaining registrar.

Imo on this event the oscar should go to netfirms not godaddy , because as soon as you enter the codes you can go to their panel and confirm the transfer and it is done no waiting etc.
I had some domains and did not expected such service from them , If I had less than 5 domains I would stay there.

Oh yes, you can transfer out from gd same day by expediting the transfer...
Proof that their 60-day lock upon account changes is total BS. Nothing to do with security
