Hello,

We are interested in blahblah.blah

It was listed in auction (your address was found via WHO IS). Please submit your price for consideration.

Our company is involved in software development/support business.

Now domain invetsing/reselling is just an additional direction of our investment strategy.

Looking forward to do business with you.

Yes, I received this letter today myself. Being new to domaining, I was excited to see a sign of interest in one of my first domains offered for sale. But also being naturally skeptical, I checked DNForum before replying and found confirmation that this is indeed a scam.

So thanks, DNF!

scam for sure. To make sure, tell him what your price is and also tell him that there is no way that he will get you to pay for an appraisal. He must either accept your offer or pass. You will most probably never hear from him again

I also recevied this mail, and I told the guy to pay the appraisal fee, then I can give him a good discount for my names.... lol:cool:
