The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. There were many highlights in a week topped by a $900,000 sale that ranks as the 11th highest deal reported so far in 2007. We also saw the year's two highest .mobi sales completed (one at $150,000 and another at $145,000) as the new extension for mobile devices had its best outing yet putting a dozen names on our all-extension Top 40 sales list. The Country Codes had a good week too with an unlikely extension landing in the #1 position on the ccTLD chart. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm

Also this week, for the first time ever - every name on our Year To Date Top 100 Sales Chart (http://www.dnjournal.com/ytd-sales-charts.htm) has hit at least six figures. In the final chart for 2006 only 74 names hit the six figure or higher mark. We're already at 101 for 2007 with three sales weeks to go as the domain market's incredible bull run wraps up it's fourth straight year of escalating momentum.

Curious why the notorious 6-pack .mobi for $1.3 million won at a Sedo auction didn't make the charts. Was it because of allegations of a pending lawsuit brought against Sedo by the highest bidder who was leap-frogged after the server crash?

I think those sales haven't closed yet.

Correct. An auction bid is not a sale. People occasionally renege on their bids. It's not a sale until two things happen: 1) the domain is paid for and 2) it is transferred to the new owner.
