For Sale Another Good Name From Drop Wizard!

Hi!

Since I've seem the notes here about Drop Wizards (premature, it seems!) 'death', I figured that I'd relate this. They got me 'AntiqueNews.COM' which was a name that I really wanted. No $3,500 bids but I was in at Snaps (do they actually get anything??! That is Snaps; SnapNames has done a little better.), had a $202 bid at NameWinner, a $150 bid at DropKing, and may have been in at NICGenie. Given the number of antique (and everything else too) names that BuyDomains owns, I am sure they must have given at least a minor effort for this decent antiques domain.

Very good name. Sounds like you really have a vested interest in antiques. You can make a lot of money if you are knowledgeable enough in them. This is just the type of generic two word name that BuyDomains would go after. However, they don't always win because they are going after bigger names. Dropwizard has yet to catch me anything. They are like 0 for 15. The real question was did you add any bonus bids?

I hope DropWizard is just as lucky for me tomorrow. I've got a high bonus bid (well not high, but as much as I can afford) on a name I really, really want.

Actually, that was the surprise. They got it for the base $120. I have had a lot of names in with them and it is the first one that they got but you may not want to ignore them even if you are sorta poor!

Lux, Good luck on your name tomorrow! I have had things in with EVERYBODY before and lost them anyway, SO be prepared for dissapointment BUT; maybe!!

Unfortunately I havent had luck either with dropwizard yet many 120$ bids and a couple with 400-500$ bids for thwo words combos but no luck both went to buydomains...
