I'm just to the left of that, on the water. 5 stories up though.
I'm about to evacuate.

Mediahound, where are you going to exacuate to?

I can't believe how many hurricanes (4) have gone thru Florida in the past
60 days.

I had a second home in Ft. Lauderdale (Bonaventure) for 25 years. And, I just sold
it two years ago.

In that time, I believe only one major hurricane went thru the general area.
(It hit Homestead, Fla.)

Maybe, once this season is over. They will not be back for another 25 yrs.

As I keep telling Duke, keep "your head down".

(add'l notice)

Here is the track projection.

Thanks for the post, actnow.
I have to hurry, but I'm headed a little more inland, to a home of mine close to hwy US27 in Pembroke Pines.
For hurricane Charlie, I was in Vermont.
For Frances, I was in Vancouver.
For Ivan, I was here.
And now here for this one.

It's been a terrible year, people have had their homes boarded up for months.
There's even been fires in homes where people cant escape properly and died because of the boards. This happened a few times this season already. A lot of people get hurt preparing for the storms, during the storms, and after.

There's lines to get gas that just never seem to end.

But, I have to go now. Hope to be back soon.
Wish me a safe one.

Thanks Jordan.
I live on the water, I headed inland to another home of mine.
It headed north and hit harder up there. I could have stayed where I was and been safe, but nobody knew what was going to happen. Better safe than dead.
Verisign being down is the worst part of the storm so far, aside from rearranging furniture and electronics away from windows, putting up hurricane shutters, etc.

Hope we don't get 5 - that would be amazing if we did though.
