While I'm happy about the release of these two sites, I find it quite unnecessary to try and blatantly lure in those who disagree about the extension into yet another flame war. It's completely uncalled for, and I'm sure that I'm not the only person here who is sick of the pointless bickering about .mobi from both sides.
I think the flame wars will continue until .mobi is proven, or unproven. I hope it eventually works out, and all these companies start advertising their .mobi urls. Actually, it will take this advertising to make it work out.

I clearly joined DNF too late to indulge in the .mobi row
But anyway, not a .mobi investor myself (have just two of my own brands), but I was lead to believe that Nokia etc were intending on launching mobile browsers on future phones with ".mobi" built in by default. So you'd only need to type in "ING" in this instance to hit their .mobi site.
Maybe I got the wrong end of the stick, but I guess this is possibly why the big boys are spending time and money developing? Kinda like the Internet Keywords/Google Toolbar Keyword concept that worked so, erm, successfully
Will be launching several geo mobis in the next few weeks. Very excited to provide indexed and searchable content on a mobile platform to high profile places...
