Any registrars not require a notarized signature?

Some registrars such as GoDaddy and NETSOL require a notarized signature before they process a change of domain ownership.

Are there any registrars that do NOT require this for change of ownership?

Thanks.

www.eNom.com is great. No paperwork at all--free--and it takes 1 minute.

I have found it to be a very positive influence when making sales too. Sometimes--if a person is considering buying a name from me--and I tell them--Hey--I can transfer to you FREE in 1 minute with no paperwork or hassle--it can be enough to push them that final step. :)

While GoDaddy and NETSOL do require a notarized signature - there are ways around that. Change the admin and let the new owner transfer out.

Sorry, but GoDaddy NO LONGER requires any notary; their ownership transfer is now paperless (starting I guess around late June).

OpenSRS resellers don't need paperwork either.

With GoDaddy, you are dealing directly with an ICANN-accredited registrar; on the other hand, you must buy from an eNom reseller (unless you choose to pay $29.95 per name/year).

How easy is it to sell a domain I have with GoDaddy ? I heard it's easy if the buyer is also a GoDaddy member - how long does it take and how much $$$ people say that with eNom it is almost INSTANT to sell our domain...

>O.C.: I'd like my email address and "THIS DOMAIN NAME IS FOR SALE" to show up in WhoIs.

Well, well, well ... Strictly speaking, such a "domain for sale" line is some kind of false information for either your name or address and could lead to a de-registration; UNLESS you are doing it in a more elelgant way like (I forgot whom) actually naming your nameservers as "this.domain-for-sale.com" and "that.domain-for-sale.com", etc.

I just transferred a domain name from Verisign (NetSol) to GoDaddy. It was initiated on Sep 6, failed, re-initiated on Sep 9 and went through on Sep 12. Hope this helps.
