Is there any value in one-words that looks like this:

B-U-S-I-N-E-S-S.com
F-O-R-U-M.com
S-E-A-R-C-H.com

Any response would be appreciated.

I don't think much value unless it's a two or three character combination, like T-O.com or maybe F-U-N.com

It's quirky but the longer names are a pain to type in, who wants to enter all those dashes?

z-e-r-o v-a-l-u-e

Thanks Guys. It's greatly appreciated.

What price range for a 2 and 3 letter word be?

E-C was sold 02/08/2006 02:22 PM for $1,605

Seems like a nice healthy profit... LOL. I was in on both bids, what a dummy.

Glad to hear (though sorry you missed out)! BTW, here's the word from DNJournal:

.Com Supporting Cast

Sedo supplemented their six charted domains with a bevy of additional .com beauties including FOAF.com at $6,300, E-C.com at $5,500 and a trio that went for $5,000 each; DotMobi.com, ProViews.com and SponsoredSearch.com. The latter domain was sold by DomainState forum veteran NameThink. IndieMerch.com brought $4,410 and, in one of the best deals we have seen in a long time, a lucky buyer got a prime 3-letter .com, ANC.com, for just $4,000! Letter combinations like that have brought six figures on more than one occasion so I'm sure some champagne corks were popped when that domain arrived in the buyer's account.

Was this a typo (he says while rapidly checking if 5500.com would be available...), third sale or something else?

as a "name" not so much -- if it were a developed "site" with traffic, revenue, links, etc...that's anutha story...

2 or 3 letter with hyphens are different than keywords with hyphens.
Simple explanation: 2 or 3 letters are mostly acronyms, but adding hyphens destroys keywords.

i like my W-W-W.gr
